Marguerite Courtel – Communication officer and Secretary General
Marguerite Courtel is a professionnal in culture and secretary general for Art of Change 21.
Specialized in contemporary art, Marguerite begins her career by collaborations in art centers, museums, foundations and galleries in New York, London, Istanbul and Paris, such as Gagosian Gallery and Carmignac Foundation, in charge of the collection and exhibition management among other tasks.
She joins the communication and press relations agency Communic’Art specialized in art and culture. For two years, she collaborates in the development and strategies for several art galleries in France and abroad. She develops as well her skills in digital strategies.
Fascinated by the innovative energy and the visionary spirit of the sustainable development, Marguerite starts in 2016 a voluntary collaboration with Art of Change 21. She takes the plunge in the beginning of 2017 and joins the association to reinforce the cultural dynamic and to drive the communication (from the strategy to the application of actions of communication and digital strategies, including press relations).
Marguerite Courtel has a formation in history and history of art and a MA in curation from Sorbonne University.
During her studies, she led researches on identity crisis in Turkey through the prism of the contemporary artistic creation, and has lived in Istanbul for the year of research. Passionated in Iran and Middle-East, Marguerite contributes to Art of Change 21 projects in these regions.
