Up to 30 November 2019, the Cisternerne Museum in Copenhagen is hosting SUPERFLEX and its personal exhibition ‘It Is Not The End Of The World’: an opportunity for the Danish collective to fly in the face of collapsology, which considers the ecological crisis as the final point for humanity. These artists, who consistently pay tribute to the capacity of ecosystems to transgress and adapt, have adopted a position full of humour. What new forms of life could emerge from the apocalypse? Does the end of human life necessarily mean the end of everything? What if our ruin could benefit others? A bold statement since it suggests revising the great narratives that are still far too anthropocentric…
